How it works
how it works
Without transportation, many pastors may need to walk up to 35 miles a day to serve their church members.

We listen to what pastors need
As you can guess, the list to receive a bike is long, and evaluating which pastors receive a bike can be difficult. Pastors are asked to complete an application that details their background and long term goals of how they plan to utilitize the bike to meet their ministry needs. Bikes are valuable tools that pastors use to build their flock and meet members needs especially when traveling long distances.
"...and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it."
Matthew 16:18

Commit to signing a Ministry Contract
Once we select a pastor, a contract is signed that allows them to take ownership of the bike with a few stipulations. We require the bike be used primarily for ministry work, with the agreement it can be used as a source of income for their family, such as a taxi. It's important the bike is available to visit current church members, tend to the sick, and most importantly reach the unreached.
“I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep."
John 10:11

Demonstrating their Faith
The final step in qualifying for a bike is living their faith. Pastors are required to attend multiple pastor conferences which include receiving a bible, comprehensive print materials, getting advanced teaching techniques by one of our WWO leaders, learning new tips, receiving scriptural encouragement and participating in deep prayer.
"In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.."
2 Corinthians 6:6

Bike Distribution Day
The excitement builds as pastors line up to receive their bikes. For many this is their first one. Our team is there to provide technical and spiritual support. Over the next few days, pastors will participate in outreach events that allow them to utilize what they've learned during training.
